An online (MS Teams), informal presentation about the doctoral procedure will be held on February 17, 2026 (Tuesday) at 10:00 AM for Hungarian and at 12:00 PM for international doctoral candidates who are studying for or have completed their 4-year-long doctoral studies and are about to start their doctoral procedure. Please register by sending an email to drhabilcsop@ttk.elte.hu.
The next meeting of the Council of the Hevesy György PhD School of Chemistry will take place on February 20, 2026. The Council will consider complete submissions of dissertations received by Ms. Éva Mercz on or before January 21, 2026.
We are pleased to announce that Mr. Attila Richárd Herczeg, a doctoral candidate under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Zoltán Novák, has been awarded the 2025 Egis Excellence Fellowship for his research proposal entitled "Design and production of new alkene-based building blocks." The project aims to develop innovative substituted alkene reagents suitable for cycloaddition and Michael addition reactions with a wide range of dienes and nucleophiles. Congratulations to Attila on this outstanding achievement!
The last meeting of the Council of the Hevesy György PhD School of Chemistry took place on December 10, 2025. The Council considered complete submissions of dissertations received by Ms. Éva Mercz on or before November 10, 2025.
The opening of the new, 2025/2026 academic year will take place in room 0.89 at 14:00 on October 2, 2025. All are welcome!
